WiFi Range & Speed Tester is a Wi-Fi testing and diagnostic app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our mobile application.
By using the app, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. What This App Does
WiFi Range & Speed Tester helps users test Wi-Fi speed, ping, stability, connection quality, room coverage, and weak Wi-Fi areas.
Depending on your device and operating system, the app may provide different features.
On Android, supported devices may show additional Wi-Fi information such as signal strength, nearby Wi-Fi networks, frequency, channel, and network details.
On iOS, some advanced Wi-Fi analyzer features may not be available because iOS limits detailed Wi-Fi scanning and signal access for privacy and security reasons. The iOS version focuses on speed testing, ping testing, stability checks, room coverage testing, history, and reports.
2. Information We Collect
The information collected depends on the features you use, your device platform, app permissions, and third-party services integrated into the app.
2.1 Wi-Fi and Network Information
The app may access Wi-Fi and network-related information to provide diagnostic features, such as:
- Current Wi-Fi connection status
- Wi-Fi network name, if available and permitted by the operating system
- Signal strength, where available
- Nearby Wi-Fi networks, where available on supported Android devices
- Frequency or channel information, where available on supported Android devices
- IP/network connection status
- Internet speed test results
- Ping or latency test results
- Wi-Fi quality or stability score
This information is used to provide Wi-Fi testing and diagnostic features inside the app.
We do not collect Wi-Fi passwords.
We do not provide Wi-Fi hacking, password unlocking, router unlocking, or unauthorized network access tools.
2.2 Test History and Room Names
The app may allow you to save Wi-Fi test results for rooms or locations such as bedroom, office, kitchen, living room, or custom room names.
This may include:
- Room name entered by you
- Speed test result
- Ping or latency result
- Wi-Fi quality score
- Signal strength, where available
- Test date and time
- Basic network information, where available
Unless specifically stated otherwise in the app, this test history is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to our server.
You can delete saved test history from inside the app if the feature is available, or by clearing app data/uninstalling the app.

The app or third-party services may collect technical information such as:
- Device type
- Operating system version
- App version

- Performance data
This information may be used to improve app performance, fix bugs, show ads, prevent fraud, and maintain app security.
2.4 Location Information
Some Android Wi-Fi features may require location permission because Android treats Wi-Fi scan results and nearby network information as location-sensitive data.
If location permission is requested, it is used to enable Wi-Fi scanning or Wi-Fi network information features required by Android.
We do not use this app to track your real-time GPS location.
We do not sell your location data.
If the app does not need GPS-based features, we do not intentionally collect precise GPS location.
3. How We Use Information
